What it is: Castor oil is a liquid laxative that is commonly used externally (for hair and skin) or internally (as a laxative). It’s commonly used for weight loss and to make hair more beautiful. It’s also used by many women to bring on an overdue labor.
How it tastes: Castor oil tastes like a thick oil (imagine drinking straight cooking oil).
The flavor resembles soap and is fairly bland.
Tips: Many people cannot stomach the taste and mix it with other things such as juice. Orange juice is a common recommendation.
